Our Story

 

Why We Do What We Do.

 

 Sarah Jayy was founded in 2019. In May 2020 the business has went in a new direction and will be operating from Limerick, Ireland.

 

The picture above is me at my first photoshoot ever. I used to be overweight and unhealthy. After mulling over a decision to get a personal trainer or not for years, I finally made the decision in January 2020. It was life changing. By May 2020 I was doing my first photoshoot after losing all of the weight and all of my old eating habits.

This all started back in 2018 while travelling with my boyfriend in Thailand. We went to Phi Phi island - yes it is beautiful. But, on that little tropical island is a walk way which leads you up to an amazing "birdseye" view of the whole island. 

I always thought of myself as a fit and healthy person. My diet and exercising routine came from a well known weight loss company. Of which, I was a member. And, I even paid these people!

On this particular day in Phi Phi, it was quite humid. The path to walk up to the view-point was hilly, hard and tough - so I thought! My boyfriend stormed ahead of me and was up there in no time. Not a drop of sweat rolled off him.

When I finally got up there, the sweat was pouring from me, I was ready to collapse. My boyfriend said "what took you so long? I thought you were fit? You're with that weight loss company over a year now!"

How could this be I thought? I always assumed I was relatively fit and healthy. I was wrong. Dead wrong.

In doing some research I found out that most of the advice women receive on their health and fitness is bulls***!

This is when I started focusing on my health, my mind and my happiness... and you can do it too!

When the weight fell off me after I got a real personal trainer and real health advice, I had to throw out every piece of clothing in my wardrobe.

This is when I came across a lot of bad women's clothing companies online. Bad quality. Terrible customer service. You know the ones where you message them and they do NOT reply!

I started Sarah Jayy so our customers will get the best quality clothing. The best customer service and I also want our customers to feel like they are part of this business.

We take your input on board. We reply to every complaint fast and we will try out best to solve any issue you face when you spend your hard-earned money with us.

 

We are strongly against fast-fashion, bad quality items and poor customer service!

We also want to focus on natural beauty. We don't like the fakeness and the photoshopped photos you see on Instagram. We want natural women showing off their humps, bumps, stretch marks and scars...because that's what real women have!

Our future goal is to build a brand that lasts! Great customer service. The best quality clothing and a place you will love to shop online.

Our brand creates pieces you can reach for in the morning knowing you can be comfortable and look and feel fantastic all day long whether you are going to work, hitting the gym or meeting the girls for a coffee.
